NIS America has a second announcement this week with a new license, this time from one of the winter 2014 pool of anime series that are out there. The company has picked up the rights to The Pilot’s Love Song and will be releasing it complete form in the future. No details are available since we’re just closing in on the halfway mark of the series being broadcast in Japan, but NIS America does direct folks to check out the streaming on Crunchyroll. The license is a pretty natural pickup considering the connection to their previously released standalone feature The Princess and the Pilot since the two works are connected in the same world.

Plot concept: In order to uncover the “end of the sky,” as  spoken of in ancient mythology, Kal-el Albus is  sent to Isla, an island in the sky. There he  attends Cadoques High’s Aerial Division,  where he enjoys a carefree life with his schoolmates. That is…until a surprise attack by the air tribe drags Isla into a bloody war.
