While A-1 Pictures does work on a lot of series, not all of them winners to be sure, when they get involved in an original production it’s almost always worth taking notice. Over the weekend, a new series was announced with Seikai Seifuku ~ Bōryaku no Zvezda (World Conquest: Stratagem Star). While nothing is established in terms of what season this will air, it does have a pretty strong production team behind it that includes the director of Darker Than Black handling direction here while Kohaku Kurobashi is on for the character designs. He’s more well known for his work with Kino’s Journey in doing the artwork for that.
