Following the January 2013 release of Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge in theaters, which went over fairly well, a second feature has previously been given the green light and is currently scheduled for for December 27th, 2013. With the TV series ongoing and doing well and the manga rolling right along at its own pace, the property has definitely enjoyed quite a revival since the 2011 TV series kicked off. Now the first trailer has arrived for Hunter X Hunter: The Last Mission, which clocks in at thirty seconds as is usual for a feature that far out.
Plot concept: The strongest Hunters that once existed in the Hunters Association were split into “light” and “dark”, and each walked down their respective paths. The “dark” side begins moving in order to massacre all Hunters! What actions will Gon take when the many crimes of Netero and the Hunters Association are unveiled…!?
