It’s been a quiet production run for Non Non Biyori ahead of its fall 2013 broadcast debut as the last time we had anything significant for it was the promotional video that surface back at the end of March. The Silver Link animated series is set for an October premiere, though the debut date has not been locked down yet. The show is adapted from the series by Atto, which runs in Monthly comic Alive since 2009 and has five volumes released so far from the seinen magazine. The series is one that through the promotional video, you can tell is a very slow paced work that won’t set the world on fire but will definitely capture a certain segment of fans quite well.
Plot concept: Elementary school student Ichijou Hotaru has moved with her parents from Tokyo to the middle of the country. Now she must adapt to her new school, where there are a total of 5 students in the same class who range through elementary and middle school ages. Join their everyday adventures in the countryside.
