FUNimation Sets April Anime DVD/BD Release Slate

FUNimation has let loose with its first round of solicitation information via Right Stuf for what the company has planned for April 2013 anime releases. The month has some solid title sin there to check out, both in new releases and collections/priced down titles, as there are thirteen separate releases planned, with some overlap to be had. On the new side, we get to see A Certain Scientific Railgun debut with both parts on the same day, DVD only of course. We also get LASTEXILE – Fam The Silver Wing, which is getting both of its parts released but is getting the DVD/BD combo set. There’s several collections, complete and priced downs as well, though it’s expected that the Eden of the East collection may be mildly inaccurate when it comes to its runtime due to the pricing. With the pricing and timing of the release, it’s also likely to contain the movies.
