With the DVD and Blu-ray release of Naruto Shippuden: Will of Fire last week, Viz Media has shifted the 2009 Japanese feature to their Neon Alley service for a premiere this coming Sunday. The movie is the third in the Naruto: Shippuden series of movies that was released on August 1st, 2009 directed by Masahiko Murata based on a story by Junki Takegami and original manga creator Masashi Kishimoto. The Neon Alley presentation will be dub-only and in HD as part of the service. The feature brought in $8 million during its three week run in Japan and added another $300,000 with limited runs in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. It debuted in the #5 position during its first week in Japan and was #70 overall for 2009.

Plot concept: Four Kekkei Genkai shinobi who have been guarding the Hidden Cloud, Stone, Mist and Sand villages disappear without a trace. The Land of Fire comes under suspicion, as it is the only country to have suffered no losses. Mounting suspicion among the four nations is bringing them to the brink of another Great Ninja War.
