This Friday in Japan sees the airing of the latest Lupin the 3rd special with Lupin the 3rd: Blood Seal – Eternal Mermaid. The latest entry in the long running franchise comes nearly two years after the previous special. The special is part of NTV’s Friday night slot, their “Friday Roadshow,” which brings in diverse specials and movies. This release is quite a departure in a big way for long time Lupin fans as it’s the first time since the mid 90’s that the voice cast has changed. The two main leads of Lupin and Daisuke remain the same, but new cast members have been brought in for Inspector Zenigata, Goemon and Fujiko.
