It’s been a very good year for fans of Io Sakisaka’s work as not only have we had the Ao Haru Ride anime series and a live action film that’s in the works as well, but also a live action film for the Strobe Edge manga. The series, which Viz Media began releasing in 2012 in North America, ran for ten volumes between 2007 and 2009. The first teaser for the film hsa arrived for the March 14th, 2015 feature film which is directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. The film stars Kasumi Arimura as Ninako Kinoshita, Sota Fukushi as Ren Ichinose, Yuki Yamada as Takumi Ando, Arisa Sato as Mayuka Korenaga , Jingi Irie asDaiki Korenaga and Yuina Kuroshima as Mao Sugimoto.
