April is shaping up to be a busy season for new anime series and one that will at least be part of the short run side is Puchimas!!: Petit Petit iDOLM@STER, which is going int its second season. The show has a new promotional video out now from Frontier Works that gives us a good taste of what’s to come as it does a lot more self contained anime-original stories this time around compared to the first season, which was simulcast by FUNimation in North America.
The first season of the show, which ran for 64 episodes, is scheduled for a three volume DVD and Blu-ray release begining on May 28th, 2014 where the Blu-rays are priced at 6,825 yen each and the DVDs at 5,775 yen each.
The releases come with some decent extras as there will be a bonus CD with the releases, where the soundtrack is included. On-disc extras include the clean ending sequences, promo videos and each release will also come with a booklet.
