FUNimation is bringing to attention the upcoming second half of Robotics; Notes, which is set to land on DVD/BD combo pack on March 25th. The second half of the series clocks in at eleven episodes and provides for some good extras, including Science Adventure Series Interview Part 2, Actor Commentaries and Textless Songs. To get people more interested in it and to remind them that preorders are important, a new trailer has surfaced for it that brings the cast out to shine. The release is set for region A/B on Blu-ray and 1,2 & 4 on DVD priced at $64.98. The first half of the series is being released a month earlier on February 18th, 2014.
Plot concept: Kaito, Akiho, and the rest of the Robot Research Club have finally completed their dream of building a giant robot, only to discover they’ve still got a ton of work to do. As they draw up plans for a new model, strange things start happening around them. A robot uprising wreaks havoc in Tokyo, a network-based AI crosses over into the real world, and the Kimijima reports foretell of an impending apocalypse.
