The anticipation for late 2014 when Doctor Who returns wit the new Twelfth Doctor as played by Peter Capaldi is certainly high, even if he doesn’t like the color of his kidneys. We got a glimpse of him in the role during the Time of the Doctor episode but as we saw with Matt Smith, it does take a bit of time for the wardrobe to come together and for everyone to really get a handle on the character and interpretation, especially as they interact with others. BBC One is smartly keeping fans in the loop to a degree to work with the good will earned over the end of 2013 with the property as they’ve given us a look at Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman together on set, likely pointing to the size of Moffat’s ego off to the side. We kid, we kid. Sort of.
