We’ve had a fair bit of material with interview clips of George Lucas, but now the official Star Wars YouTube channel is adding a bit more as well. This time around they’ve brought out one of the older featurettes for The Empire Strikes Back where we get to see the asteroid chase scene done with the bottom half showing the final product while the top has the storyboards showing what was planned and just how close it is. “As seen here, interior cockpit shots, TIE fighters colliding with asteroids, and the Millennium Falcon docking inside a larger asteroid all appear as storyboards almost exactly as they would be seen in the final film.”
