A new original anime project for theatrical release is being lined up with the 2027 film ghost. The new project doesn’t have a lot of details, but with the visual released to the right, it comes from writer/director Shingo Natsume with Natsumoe Ono handling the character designs. Madhouse is handling the animation production.

Plot Concept: Everyone has a “ghost” in their hearts. It is a genuine feeling that is there but inexpressible. In this work, the girl Nike opposes the absurdity of the world in order to protect the “starry sky.” This challenging work expresses Nike’s solitude and heroism, and the subtleties of the heart as she interacts with others.
