While a whole lot of us are very much deep into the world of streaming and many have moved past physical media overall, there’s still definitely a market there for it – and should be if you want to actually own a copy of something that doesn’t require being online to watch it – even more so if you have data caps in your area!
The folks at Media Play have updated the stats and changes for the week ending May 31st, 2025. Captain America: Brave New World slips to second in its third week, bested by the latest installment of Yellowstone but only just barely going by the indext numbers. This week also saw the release of The Day The Earthy Blew Up coming in at third while the seventh season of Outlander lands in sixth.
The anime side makes out well with The Colors Within arriving in eighth.
A couple of titles from outside the chart surface, such as Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Kingdom of Heaven with new UHD editions along with Starman and Kingpin.
