A new anime from a light novel source was in the works with an adaptation of the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time property. Making a January 1st 2025 premiere, the property is based on the light novels that come from Kogitsunemaru and illustrator Hitogome. It began in 2017 with fifteen volumes released so far. A manga adaptation began in 2018 with six volumes so far.
Happinet is handling the Japanese home video releases and they’ve opted to go the box set route for the twelve-episode series. The sets are scheduled for a May 30th, 2025 release, where the DVD set is priced at 29,000 yen and the Blu-ray set at 30,000 yen. Extras include the clean versions of the theme songs and a work guide booklet.

The anime was directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya from the scripts overseen by Mitsutaka Hirota. Sayaka Anesaki is handling the character designs with STudio Comet on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Shōgo Sakata as Takumi Iruma, Ai Kayano as Sofia Sylphid, Nao Tōyama as Maria, Afumi Hashi as Maple, Sora Amamiya as Goddess Nolyn, Nene Hieda as Reyva, Moeka Koizumi as Máni, Nobuo Tobita as Papekku, and Kikuko Inoue as Mūran.
The series features the opening theme song is “TREASURE!” as performed by DIALOGUE+ while the ending theme song is “Twinkle Days” performed by harmoe.
