A new anime adaptation is in the works for 2024 with the manga property A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! The adaptation didn’t release any details when it was announced in December 2023 but things are now moving quickly. The show previously confirmed a formal October 8th, 2024 date, we learned that it’ll be a consecutive two-cour series.
The Japanese home video side is being handled by Frontier Works and they’ve set a six-volume release on Blu-ray for the series with four episodes per set. They’ll have a regular edition Blu-ray priced at 9,000 yen and a limited edition for each set priced at 12,500 yen each.

The show will have Katsumi Ono directing it from the series composition by Deko Akao. Natsuki is on board for the character designs with Satelight handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Ryota Osaka as Haruaki Abe, Mikoto Sano voiced by Ryota Suzuki, Mamekichi Maizuka voiced by Reo Tanie, Beniko Zashiki voiced by Akari Kito, Kuniko Utagawa voiced by Hana Ayasaka, Rintaro Miki voiced by Shun Horie, Izuna Hatanaka voiced by Ryota Iwasaki, Jun Fukuyama as the principal, Taito Ban as Koutarou Hijita, Yuki Sakakihara as Tamao Akisame, Tomokazu Sugita as Yanagida, Takao Mitsutomi as Yakumo Mujina, Saku Hyūga as Tōya Fuji, Nanako Mori as Yuri Renjō, Tomoaki Maeno as Makoto Yamazaki, Chitose Morinaga as Marshmallow, Tetsuya Yanagihara as Chiisai Ojisan (small old man), Akira Takano as Rensuke Nyuudou, and Shōta Aoi as Akira Takahashi.
The manga from Mai Tanaka began in 2014 and has sixteen volumes out as of the end of 2023. Yen Press releases it in English with fourteen volumes out as of the end of 2023.
