“Badgers of the same hole”
What They Say:
Sousuke is a part-time worker living in an old, rusty apartment. It’s not a bad place to live though, with a cute big tits landlady Yuki who takes care of the place. Also, another cute girl, Sunao, living upstairs is great too. One day, when Sousuke was bashing off, the ceiling came falling down with Sunao, and she landed on his…

Based on the manga by Iburō that debuted in 2016 and completed in 2024 with two volumes, the anime adaptation landed early in the summer of 2018 with a broadcast version and an uncut version. With its English subtitled release, it’s localized as What She Fell on Was the Tip of My Dick. The adaptation was one of the early releases from AnimeFesta, which were definitely weaker and not all that great in terms of animation and scripting. The scripting is certainly shallow here, but the show at last looks pretty good with great designs and a solid management of the budget to put in the quality where it needs to be. The show has Tomoshiyo Jinki directing based on the series scripts by them. Satoshi Urushihara serves as the character designer here, which is a draw with Ark producing the animation.
After some amusing episodes with how the configurations have landed, we get the gang back together at the apartment where Sunao talks about a new role that she has, and that she set up Sousuke on a date with Yuki in a way to see the performance. That has the two of them sitting in the back row of the theater in the dark, where he’s surprised by the strong romance of the show and then by how much it’s got her raring to go. She’s far more assertive than usual, stripping down a lot in public like this, and insisting that he do what she wants him to do because her need is so great. Running this experience against what’s playing out on the big screen is certainly comical, and Yuki is doing her worst at keeping quiet. To make matters worse for him, Sunao reveals after the play that she saw what he was up to with Yuki in the back row and will have words for him later. Of course, that’s just the start of problems because when they get home, a childhood friend of his, Yuzu, has arrived in all her chesty glory. Which in turn has both of the women pretty frustrated by him.
In Summary:
I can’t say I’m thrilled to have a third woman show up in the story that’s basically her to bang Sousuke because the guy is like the least interesting person in a room of ciphers. The theater sequence is a good bit of fun, even as unrealistically loud as they are, and watching reactions to that has a lot of payoff. That show is going for a competition now to see which of the three women that Sousuke likes the best, as the focus isn’t going to help either. It’s a lot of standard dumb comedy with sex, and it’s usually fine, but introducing a new character this late doesn’t do the show any favors.
