The first feature-film length 2D anime project for the Lupin the 3rd franchise in almost thirty years was announced earlier this year with Lupin the 3rd: Immortal Bloodline. The film is set for a June 27th, 2025, release and features the theme song from B’z with “The IIIRD Eye,” and there’s a prequel net anime with Zenigata and the Two Lupins, that arrives on June 20th, 2025, with an obvious focus
Now, a new trailer and poster have arrived for the main film itself below as we close in on it being just over a month away until the project debuts. Two additional cast members were revealed as well with Ainosuke Kataoka as Muomu and Aoi Morikawa as Sarifa.
The film is directed by Takeshi Koike from a screenplay by Yuya Takahashi. Telecom Animation Film is handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Kanichi Kurita as Lupin III
- Akio Otsuka as Daisuke Jigen
- Daisuke Namikawa as Goemon Ishikawa XIII
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine
- Kōichi Yamadera as Inspector Zenigata
