First Issue Spotlight: ‘The Question: All Along the Watchtower’ By Alex Segura & Cian Tormey

DC Comics is getting a new series underway with the November 20th, 2024 debut of The Question: All Along the Watchtower. The new book is the first of six issues and is priced at $3.99 for the first issue which comes in at 32 pages. It has Alex Segura writing it with artwork by Cian Tormey, color design by Romulo Fajardo Jr., and lettering by Willie Schubert The release has a cover by Tormey as well which you can see below.

Segura is known for their work on Archie books and Edge of Spider-verse among others and has the Green Hornet/Miss Fury book coming up soon. Tormey is known for their work Superman: Son of Kal-El and Alan Scott: The Green Lantern.

Plot Concept: Who watches the Watchtower? In the wake of Absolute Power, the Justice League Unlimited has created a haven for all heroes — but can they keep it secure? Enter Renee Montoya, reeling from an abrupt end to her time in Gotham and looking for a place to hang her hat. But the Trinity didn’t bring her up to the Watchtower to relax — there’s a dark threat bubbling underneath the surface, and only the Question and her ad hoc support team stand a chance of figuring out who the problem is before it’s too late.
