The mysterious black garbage truck is now coming for this manga series as Ningen Kaishuusha is slated to end with its twelfth volume now solicited as the final one with a May 24th, 2024 release date. The manga began in 2012 from creator Aki Sendou as serialized in Ciao Deluxe Horror for Shogakukan.
Sendou’s first published work was in 2011 with Kuchi dake Onna and while this series has run for twelve years they also had a few other works along the ways of shorter length.
Plot Concept: The story centers on a mysterious all-black waste collection truck that appears out of nowhere. However, instead of collecting garbage or discarded appliances for disposal, it picks up “useless” people.
