A new anime series is in production as we learned in April 2021 with Kono Healer, Mendokusai getting the nod. We diodidn’t get much information about it at the time but that’s now changing as the show is set for a 2022 broadcast. Revealing a new key visual and promotional trailer below, the series is being directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi based on the scripts supervised and written by Fumihiko Shimo. Chisato Kikunaga is on board for the character designs with Jumondo handling the animation production.
Two cast members have been revealed with Aguri Onishi as Karla while Takuya Sato will play Arvin.
Onishi will perform the opening theme song.
The original manga from Tannen ni Hakko began in 2019 through ComicWalker and has three volumes out as of April 2021 in Japan.

Plot Concept: The “isekai burnt-out adventurer comedy” centers on two adventurers: the hopeless swordsman Arvin, and the sarcastic dark-elf healer Karla, who seems to be more talented with ticking people off than healing.
