The winter 2021 anime season of the Non Non Biyori Nonstop as a property made its debut on January 10th, 2021. While that series is done and over with for broadcast, it looks like we’re going to get a bit more out of it. The Japanese site has updated to reveal that the Non Non Biyori Remember manga compiled volume will get a special version that contains an OAD that will serve as the 13th and final episode of Non Non Biyori Nonstop. No firm date is set for the volume yet so preorders are not yet open. The new manga launched on May 27th, 2021..

All three seasons were directed by Shinya Kawatsura based on the overall composition by Reiko Yoshida who also wrote the scripts alongside Fumihiko Shimo and Yuka Yamada. Mai Otsuka served as the character design and the project was animated at Silver Link.

For this season, nano.RIPE is performing “Tsugihahi Moyo” as the opening theme song while the actors in character are forming the ending theme song with “Tadaima.”

The anime is based on the manga by Atto that began in 2009 under Media Factory, which has eleven volumes so far. Seven Seas Entertainment has the North American license for the manga.

Plot concept: When Hotaru moves from Tokyo to a tiny town in the rural countryside, she’s in for some serious culture shock: the nearest place that sells comics is 20 minutes away, the nearest video store is ten train stations down the line, and there are only three other girls and one boy in her entire school! Even though everything’s so different, there’s something about the laid-back atmosphere that makes her feel strangely comfortable. While she’ll certainly miss parts of her old life, there’s a whole lifetime of experiences waiting to be enjoyed with her new friends Renge, Komari, Natsumi, and Suguru! In the end, it’s who you’re with, not where you are, that makes a place your home!
