The property focuses on a woman who is getting on in years, but all her cats think she’s a man so they call her Ojii-chan. One day a brazen cat named Tsushima appears in Ojii-chan’s yard.
The Review:

Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that can set off a pet caretaker and we see that at the start here with a bit of dandelion fluff lands on Tsushima’s nose and he sneezes. That has the old woman grabbing him quickly and taking him to the vets for some intense care and checkup time, which he holds against her to a good degree but only so far because of how apologetic she is and the food that she gives him. The actual checkup is something that goes rough to be sure and seeing the one-eyed vet do his best with him is just good not so clean comedy since Tushima’s gotta get his business done.
In Summary:
Taking cats to the vets is its own special kind of hell and one can imagine that being doubly true for Tsushima. But the old lady manages to get the drop on him before he even realizes it and the end result is mixed for Tsushima but we get a lot of good laughs along the way, including seeing just how forgiving Tsushima can be if he’s treated well after the fact.
