An original production is on its way that’s coming from Chukyo TV and studio Sublimation with Shikizakura. The twelve-episode series will arrive set for an October 2021 premiere. At the Anime Expo Lite panel last night for the show, the first episode was premiered and it was revealed that Sentai Filmworks has acquired the series and that HIDIVE will stream the twelve-episode run when it begins in October.
The show has an added layer of interest that was also revealed in that auditions were held last year at Anime Expo to voice a role in the opening episode. The winner was revealed with Caitlin Macatee.

Shin’ya Sugai is directing it and is listed as working on the character designs with producer Tomoyasu Nishimura. It’s set to be a combination of hand-drawn and 3DCG animation.

The opening theme song “Believe Myself” was being performed by Asuka and the ending theme song is “Shikizakura” coming from May’n.

High school student Sho Miwa is caught up in a battle with Powered Suit and Oni, who emerges from another world and eats people. Oni who is obsessed with people and wants to appear in this world. Only the power suit “Yoroi”, which combines ancient secrets with the latest technology, can protect people from oni. Sho is an irregular member of the team that wears a powered suit and fights against Oni. Sho, who has decided to become a hero, fights Oni, defending the fateful maiden, Myojin Ouka, who saves the world.
