She is the Babaylan-Mandirigma of Manila. She's the sixth child of the sixth child. But who is she really?

Netflix tends to cast a wide net when it comes to what they call anime as they’re not as distinct in their meaning as a lot of Western anime fans about it. They have a new project that has come out which was announced back in 2018 called Trese, which adapts the Filipino comic series of the same name by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo. It began back in 2005 through Alamat Comics and has English distribution through Ablaze Publishing. There are nine collected volumes there.

With a June 11th, 2021 debut, the folks at Netflix have now revealed a new clip from it that comes in at three minutes and showcases various aspects about the lead character and how she operates.

Liza Soberano will be voicing the lead in its Tagalog dub while Shay Mitchell is in the English dub.

Plot Concept: When it comes to the supernatural, the cops have Alexanda Trese on speed dial. Set in Manila and based on the award-winning Filipino comic, TRESE brings horror folklore like you’ve never heard before.
