The last release week of the month of May is here and it’s a pretty quiet week overall, which isn’t too much of a surprise due to the holiday weekend that preceded it and the sometimes difficulty in getting people and things where they need to be. That said, Sentai Filmworks is filling in as the only studio releasing new titles today and we get two new shows in three releases that will please fans. First is a complete collection of Okamikakushi, a show which ran twelve episodes, and then the DVD and Blu-ray editions of Phi-Brain, which brings us the second half of the first season onto both formats with a whole new host of puzzles and challenges. So this is a good week to get what’s new without much competition or to stock up on some previously released material that you’ve let slip by.
