One of the best pairings that came out thanks to the old Justice League series decades ago was the bond and friendship between Ted Kord and Michael Carter, aka Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. The two have delights for years whenever they’re written this way and even little nods make a lot of people happy.So, it’s definitely welcome that we have a new eight-issue miniseries announced for the pair with Blue & Gold, which is being written by Dan Jurgens with artwork by Ryan Sook. It’s set to arrive on July 20 with a cover by Sook ($3.99) and a card stock variant cover by Dave Johnson ($4.99) that you can see below.

The not-so-tech-savvy hero from the 25th century enlists the help of his best friend, Blue Beetle, who possesses both the money and the brains to help his old pal navigate the scary world of internet influencers.
