Netflix revealed back in March 2019 a new anime series with an adaptation of the Levius manga. The show saw a November 28th, 2019 debut where it received a worldwide release. With the broadcast version underway now, King Records has scheduled the home video release for the series where it’s getting a Blu-ray box set. The two-disc set will also include the clean opening, closing, and promos along with a booklet. It’s set for an April 7th, 2021 debut where it’ll be priced at 29,800 yen.

The series has Hiroyuki Seshita as the chief director with Keisuke Ide directing at Polygon Pictures based on the series composition by Hiroshi Seko. Yuki Moriyama is on board as the character designer.

The Japanese cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Levius Cromwell, Junichi Suwabe as Zachs Cromwell, Takahiro Sakurai as Bill Weinberg, Ayane Sakura as Natalia Garnet, Houchu Ohtsuka as Malcolm Eden, Daisuke Ono as Hugo Stratas, Saori Hayami, and Mamoru Miyano as Dr. Crown.

The series is based on the manga by Haruhisa Nakata which began in 2013 and went through a publication change along the way where it has eight volumes out between the two distributors; three as Levius and five as Levius/est. Viz Media holds the English language rights to the property.
