Funimation Adds ‘Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!’ For Summer 2020 Anime Lineup

The summer 2020 anime adaptation of Take’s manga series Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is getting its simulcast streaming in order as Funimation has announced their pickup of the series! They’ll be bringing it out on their service wit ha July 10th, 2020 debut and have launched with a subtitled trailer below.

The series has Kazuya Miura directing it based on the scripts overseen by Takashi Aoshima. Manabu Kurihara is handling the character designs with ENGI handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Naomi Ōzora as Hana Uzaki, Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Tomoya Takagi as Itsuhito Sakaki, Yosuke Akimoto as Master, and Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki.

The series features “Nadamesukashi Negotiation” by Kano and Naomi Ōzora as the opening theme song.

The property by Take is serialized in Dragon Age magazine and began in 2017 and it has four volumes out so far in Japan.
