The mobile game for Lapis Re:LiGHTs is moving into some new territory with an anime adaptation in the works. Announced last December with plans for a 2020 debut, the official site has now updated with a new promo and key visual that you can see below. Within that update, we got the confirmation of a summer 2020 debut for July, which means confidence is high they can get the show out on time and without delays. It was also revealed through the theme song included in the promo that it’s being performed by pretty much all of the main cast with something like twenty performers participating. Hiroyuki Hata is directing the show with Hajim Asanoe and Kasumi Tsuchida are overseeing the scripts for it. Taro Ikegami is handling the character designs while Yokohama Animation Labs is on board for the animation production. Check out the new promo below for the show.
