The major feature coming from the 2.0 update is true cross play. Playstation 4 owners will be able to play with people on the Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One with cross play between all setups. It’s sure to bring the community together to level up together as the eLeague develops. Speaking of bringing the community together, there will be lobbies as well as a new stage and patch adjustments. You can see all of the patch adjustments at their update. More importantly, it shows intent to keep pushing the game forward as it enters its first anniversary of release.

It’s been an interesting year for the game. The game initially had some issues with character selection, issues with gameplay, and certain niceties were not included. They’ve since worked to address these issues including update with season one and season two. As well as getting the game across all major platforms and adjusting them for balances as well. They have also pushed for a new eLeague for the game which will span multiple different fighting tournaments throughout the year, and eating at Evolution 2020. They even went the distance to get original actors to voice the characters as well.

The 2.0 Update comes out today.
