We’ve known about a new Gunslinger Stratos game coming since August 2018 when it was announced but now things have updated nicely regarding the project. With a change in producer in the mix as well, it was revealed that the game will be coming to consoles as well as getting a PC port when it lands in 2020. No direct details were revealed regarding when to expect any of the versions, however. While most of the games were developed on arcade machines that could be ported fairly easily to PC side of things, consoles take a bit longer and the games focus on arcade accessibility have kept them from being part of the larger global audience, which Square Enix hopes to capture by going the console/PC route this time.
An anime adaptation was produced the spring 2015 anime season which Aniplex USA brought out here for streaming. The show is currently streaming on Hulu here.
