One of the best things to come out of last year’s really enjoyable Arrowverse crossover was seeing Elizabeth Tulloch take on the role of Lois Lane and get some expanded time with Tyler Hoechlin, who had taken on the role earlier in 2016 as Warner Bros. loosened its grip on the character for the TV side.

When last we saw the pair, they were heading to a Kryptonian outpost to deal with an impending baby arrival on Lois’ part. Which in itself could be an interesting enough series but it looks like The CW is dveloping a new project with Superman & Lois for the fall 2020 season. The usual names are involved with Todd Helbing and Greg Berlanti with Helbing writing the pilot for the potential next hourlong drama.

With the Crisis on Infinite Earths event happening this fall, a potential rewrite of various aspects could lead to this being in a different place to launch from.

Plot ConceptSuperman & Lois revolves around the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.
