The summer 2019 anime adaptation of Shoji Gatoh’s Cop Craft is getting its home video releases handled by Pony Canyon in Japan and they’ve set a short schedule for it. The twelve-episode series is getting a three-volume release that began on October 23rd, 2019. With the second set coming up on November 20th, 2019, we now have a look at the cover and packaging for the set. The DVDs and Blu-rays are priced the same at 12,000 yen each. The series was directed by Shin Itagaki with Shoji Gatoh handling the scripts. Hiromi Kimura adapted the character designs with Millepensee handling the animation production.
The main Japanese cast includes Kenjiro Tsuda as Kei Matoba, Mayu Yoshioka as Tirana Exedirika, Fumiko Orikasa as Cecil Epps, Kenji Hamada as Jack Roth, Ryousuke Takahashi as Tony Mcbee, Mai Nakahara as Jamie Austin, Marina Inoue as Cameron Estefan, Satoshi Tsuruoka as Alexander Godunov, Wataru Takagi as Biz O’naill, Volcano Ōta as Kenny, and Houchu Ohtsuka as Zerada.
The light novel series works with illustrations by Range Murata and it began in 2009 with six volumes out and a seventh scheduled for summer 2019.
