While Viz Media is working through their release of the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga releases they’ve got something sweet out now for the original Tokyo Ghoul series. A complete collection box set landed on October 16th, 2018 and they have an unboxing video for it. The set is priced at $150 and has a custom box that holds the fourteen-volume run while also including a double-sided poster as a premium bonus.
Plot Concept: In modern-day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans, yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half breed. Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions, while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster.
