The anime adaptation of Seiji Ebisu’s light novel property Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai, which translates as The One I Love is My Little Sister But She’s Not a Little Sister, has brought out a bit more promotion. The series is set for an October 10th, 2018 debut in Japan and now we have a quick but fun new TV spot for it that highlights the opening theme song briefly. Hiroyuki Furukawa is on board as both the director and the character designer and that NAZ x Magia Draglier is set as the anime studio as well. Yuichiro Momose is handling the series composition.

The Japanese cast includes Tasuku Hatanaka as Yū Nagami, Reina Kondo as Suzuka Nagami, Yui Ogura as Mai Himuro, Chinatsu Akasaki as Ahegao W Peace Sensei, and Kazusa Aranami as Sakura Minazuki.

Purely Monster will be performing the opening theme song while Junjo no Afilia will be handling the closing theme song.

The novels have been running since 2016 with artwork by Gintaro for a total of six volumes so far.

Plot Concept: The “awkward sibling romantic comedy” series centers around the younger sister Suzuka Nagami and the older brother Yū Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful third-year middle school student who has excellent grades and is the student council president. She wrote a novel about a little sister who dotes on her older brother, and the novel wins a light novel award. After they discuss the matter, Yū is the one who debuts as a proxy light novel author instead of Suzuka, under the pen name Chikai Towano.
