With a less than stellar box office take worldwide, Lucasfilm is looking to light up the home video sales a bit more to make up things a bit. The film is scheduled for a September 14th, 2018 debut digitally and then a slate of other releases on September 25th, 2018. That’ll give us the 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and the On-Demand portion of things on that date with various configurations and retail as well. The extras for the film that are being produced – but may not be on every release as there are retailer-specific ones – include:

- The Train Heist – Explore the challenges and thrills of creating this action-packed sequence, including its remote location and spectacular effects.

- The Millenium Falcon: From Page to Park – An exclusive look at the history of the most famous ship in the galaxy, its origin and development, and how it will translate in one of the most anticipated expansions in Disneyland’s history.
Directed by Chris Miller, Phil Lord, and Ron Howard, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson with a planned May 25th, 2018 release.
Plot Concept: This new film depicts Han in his formative years as a scoundrel on the rise in the galaxy’s underworld — years before the events involving Han, Leia, and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back and his rise to Rebel hero in Return of the Jedi.
