Working with window cleaning the last time around did not do me any favors as heights are totally not my thing. Working as traffic surveyors? That’s a little better though one can imagine some dangers there as well. What the pair are actually doing is traffic counting and their boss is offering up suggestions on how to avoid burns and the like while sitting outside doing this. It’s interesting in how they break down what’s counted, and with pedestrians as well, but the gag this time is that they’re doing counting within the river that’s nearby. Not that we’d see these creatures in there ever for the most part, and having it play out as it does makes for laughs as poor Kuehiko is totally overworked while Tapio has nothing to count.
In Summary:
The silliness continues nicely here as the boys work the traffic counting side of things but nothing goes as expected, which is par for the course. I do like that the show basically plays it straight at the start to show and respect the actual job before it goes off on its own weirdness in the animal world and this one definitely made me grin with what it did. A lot of cute little fun.
