Viz Media has a new manga series kicking off on December 5th, 2017 with the arrival of The Promised Neverland. While manga trailers still aren’t produced anywhere near as much as they should, especially for series launches, Viz has put one together for this one from Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu. The project kicked off in Weekly Shonen Jump back in August 2016 and has been steadily rolling on since then.
Plot Concept: Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn—what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.
