With Don’s invasion franchise plans having gone horribly awry the last time around, Makeruna now has to deal with him and his minions being on Earth. Overwhelmed by how many people there are here, and unable to basically fit them into his room, Don tries to figure out a new path to conquest. But we have problems with one of his gang being on break and others interested in his handheld game while Don himself is thought to be a talking hippo, which reduces him as a threat even more. Watching how Don handles the problems here really makes it clear in the most comical form that he’s just not going to be a great invader but he will be a pretty good visitor to Earth as there’s so much he wants to discover.
In Summary:
The challenges that Don and the others are going to face are the usual kinds of things, such as the loafers that end up not leaving when he ends up sending away anyone that’s involved in a particular job, even through a tangent. I like the dynamic we’re slowly getting with Don and his underlings as they’re standard hired help as opposed to fanatical followers and I’m definitely going to enjoy seeing how Don has to deal with the quirks of Earth and its people. At least he’s getting an amusingly skewed introduction to it all that simply works right for me in making me grin and wondering what will come next.
