With the just announced acquisition of Shangri-La from FUNimation, the company appears to be moving swiftly with this title as the casting information for the English language adaptation has been revealed to the EVS members, which of course has made its way further out online. The show has a number of familiar names but also some newer and up and coming ones that will be working under Tyler Walker’s direction for the show. Check out the full breakdown of the cast below.
Plot Concept: SHANGRI-LA is the story of a young woman fighting for her survival in a real “urban jungle.” Only 18 years old, Kuniko Hojo finds herself at the heart of the battle for humanity’s future when she discovers that the government which rules Atlas intends to continue marginalising the less-privileged masses outside the tower – by force, if necessary.
