New Anime This Week

It’s the last release week of August 2016 and we’ve got an interesting and varied list of titles coming out today. Discotek Media tends to release at the end of the month so we get a few titles from them, such as the start of the excellent and hilarious Beelzebub series and the Golgo 13 Blu-ray. They also have some Getter Robo and a True Tears license rescue as well as the inexplicable pickup of Demon Lord Dante. Funimation rolls out a new set of Eureka 7 for fans to grab as well as Doamayger-D on DVD in subtitled-only form, a rare short-form series getting release here. Sentai Filmworks keeps things very simple with just When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace getting separate DVD and Blu-ray releases. Aniplex slides out a great release this week as well with the end run of Working!!! on Blu-ray.
