Thursday is usually a quiet day for new comic book releases through ComiXology, but since it’s a Thanksgiving holiday here in the US they opted to shift their new releases to earlier in the week.
That means it’s all about the sales as part of Black Friday weekend. We’re big advocates of digital comics, particularly coming from a storage aspect and the ease of acquisition and reading, so there’s definitely a lot to like here with the big sales going on.

On the Image sale, there’s a lot to dig into and we recommend both Descender and Manifest Destiny as well as checking out Trees and a few others.
When it comes to the Frank Miller sale on Batman books, well, everything is good. For those just curious, I’d recommend simply going after the Year One stories.
Dark Horse is doing a singles sale today as well with a lot of recent firsts for 99 cents and a lot of issues past that as well; that means all of Rebels is on sale for a buck an issue, as is Zodiac Starforce and more. There’s also the recent EI8HT series that we definitely recommend as well as The Tomorrows and Adam.3.
Marvel is also throwing a lot of sales here, with some really sweet priced collections and a fantastic run with Jessica Jones that you’ll want to get if you’re enjoying the TV show. And the Spider-Verse sale offers up a slew of great items as well.
