‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Determined To Be Made

2 min read

It’s taking quite some time and facing a number of challenges, including location scouting as a place in Australia that they were going to shoot that was barren but is now turning green, but the plans for a new Mad Max movie continues to move forward with George Miller at the helm. We keep hearing different things about how many Miller wants to make, supposedly with two to three in total, where they have the new cast for it. Even with the seemingly constant delays, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron haven’t dropped out and are intending to follow through on it which is reassuring that they believe in the script and Miller to do so, especially for Hardy as he has more opportunities showing up by the day these days.

“Its Mad Max, every time we try it doesn’t happen. But that’s something that happens [with movies]. This time it was rain. And we were going to shoot out of Broken Hill. and what was once a flat wasteland, is now a flower garden virtually. And its beautiful, beautiful by the way. good for everybody, good for the country, not good for Mad Max. So we’re headed out next year [to South Africa] to do it, middle of next year, to do it.”
