ComiXology Sets New & Notable Digital Comics For August 23rd, 2015

The quiet digital first release day of Sunday is still mostly quiet here as we get the latest installment of Mortal Kombat X, which we’ve been getting for over half a year now. The latest installment keeps things moving right along with the story though as Shawn Kittelsen continues to write it with Igor Vitorino and Oclair Albert handling the artwork.

Plot concept: With the Blood God destroyed and Havik neutralized, the champions of Earthrealm and Outworld attempt to return to their normal lives…and new forces begin to conspire against them.
