Another ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders – Egypt Arc’ Japanese Anime DVD/BD Promo Arrives

Jojo's Bizarre AdventureWarner Bros. Japan released the second volume of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders last last month on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan as part of the Egypt Arc run and they’ve now put out a new promotional spot for the series overall and for getting your preorders in, since they’re important in general. The Blu-ray releases are priced at 9,500 yen each while the DVDs are priced at 5,000 yen each for the six volume run that will have four episodes per volume.

The first volume limited edition Blu-ray release comes with the second original soundtrack. The second volume has a special set of thirty one tarot cards included. The third volume has a soul of the coin magnet set included.

The series stars Daisuke Hirakawa as Noriaki Kakyoin, Daisuke Ono as Jotaro Kujo, Fuminori Komatsu as Jean-Pierre Polnareff, Kenta Miyake as Mohammed Abdul and Unshou Ishizuka as Joseph Joestar. Kenichi Suzuki is serving as the series director with Naokatsu Tsuda as episode director based on scripts by Yasuko Kobayashi and character designs by Masahiko Komino out of David Production. The show is based on the original manga series by Hirohiko Araki.

Plot concept: After 30 days of travel across the world, plagued with countless battles, Jotaro and his companions have finally arrived in Egypt! Now only the strongest “Stand” users remain to rebuff our heroes’ final march on Cairo: The Nine Egyptian Gods, DIO’s most zealous servants. Will the Joestar line fall to the monstrous vampire, or can Jotaro defeat DIO and save his mother’s life?
