‘One Piece’ Anime Casts Its Princess Mansherry

2 min read

Princess MansherryWith One Piece moving deeper into the Dressrosa arc that it’s in the midst of now, new characters are still coming along that will make an impact on the series. One that has been talked about a bit is that of Princess Mansherry, which has become a new plot point for the Tontatta’s in their attempt to reassert their position on the island. While we’ve had a few teases recently about the character as she’s being sought out by rescuers, we haven’t heard much from her or about who is playing her.

That’s now been updated on the official site as it’s been revealed that Ai Nonaka will be taking on the voice role for the character. Nonaka has been involved in voice acting since her early twenties when she first played a role in Ultimate Muscle before moving quickly into more popular shows like ROD The TV and Stellvia. Her roles would grow over the years, including playing that of Konoka Konoe in Negima!? and Fuko in Clannad. Arguably, her biggest role is that of Kyouko Sakura in Madoka Magica. She’s taken a lighter turn recently with just Amagi Brilliant Park last year and Koufuk Graffiti this year.
