
The manga series Bad Girl is making the leap to a TV anime adaptation as revealed by the launch of the official site and social for it. The manga from Nikumaru began in 2021 as serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat and has three volumes published so far. Nikumaru made their debut in 2021 with multiple projects that have seen various stages of serialization.
We learned recently that the series will be part of the HIDIVE presentation with a North American premiere set for July 4th, 2025, at the convention. Now, the show has dropped a new promotional video that reveals a July 5th, 2025, premiere while also previewing the opening theme song “Super Big Love!” performed by Tenrogun.
The anime will be directed by Takeshi Furuta from the series composition by Shoji Yonemura. Yuki Morimoto is handling the character designs with Bridge handling the animation production.

Plot Concept: The story focuses on high school girl Yu, who is vying for the attention of the chairman of the disciplinary committee by becoming a delinquent, to varying success.
