It’s been several years since we saw the end of the Yes! Precure 5 and Maho Girls Precure! series but now they’re getting some renewed attention thanks to the franchise’s 20th anniversary. The two projects are getting done as sequels aimed at adult audiences with Power of Hope ~Grown-Up Precure 23~ and Mahō Tsukai Precure! 2. The former saw an October 2023 debut on NHK Educational while the latter was planned to debut in 2024 on regular broadcast networks.
The latest update on the Witchy Pretty Cure!! Mirai Days project is the home video side in Japan, where Happinet is handling distribution. The twelve-episode season is getting done as two box set releases where the regular editions are priced at 18,000 yen each and the limited editions at 25,000 yen.
Catching up a bit on this, we have a look at the packaging for the second set that landed last month, bringing the show to a close. Check out the full schedule and known details below.

Maho Girls Precure concept: Mirai is a 13-year-old girl who lives in the human word. One day she witnesses a mysterious object fall from the sky into the park. Excitedly, she brings her stuffed bear Mofurun with her to see what it was. When she gets there she sees a girl named Riko flying on a broom. Riko is of the same age and from the magical world. Mirai has a lot of questions, and Riko explains that she’s searching for a jewel with strong powers called “Link Stone Emerald.”
Then Batti, an ally of the dark magic users Dokurokushi, appears before them and demands that Riko hand over the “Link Stone Emerald,” which Riko herself had been looking for. To make things worse, Batti uses dark magic to create a monster known as a Yokubaru! Mirai and Riko join hands and with the magic words “Cure-up Rapapa!” they transform into the legendary Pretty Cure.
