Top 20 Graphic Novels by Units & Dollars For April 2025

The latest round of charts to roll out from ICv2 covers another part of what happened in April 2025 by looking at the graphic novel market as a whole – by units and by dollars. This one tends to not vary as wildly as the comics one does because we don’t usually get single-issue comics that are out of the norm that often. One of the fun things about the graphic novel side is that there are things that turn out big here that aren’t usually thought about within the monthly floppies marketplace but do big numbers.

In terms of units, we get some solid books coming into the mix here with Ultimate Spider-Man continuing to do well but the thing we’re again seeing are compact and digest versions landing the best. Invincible dropped its first digest volume, which took the top spot previously and slips to fourth here, while we see how All-Star Superman and Batman: Hush along with others are charting well. Taking the top spot this time is Transformers with its third volume and the release of Kingdom Come in compact form.

In terms of by dollars, a lot of it looks the same overall though the pricier books make bigger inroads such as some of the omnibus hardcovers that come in at $125 or higher that tend to not be an area where manga does well since they’re much lower in price. The Invincible compendium books with their higher prices top the chart here while the Ultimate Spider-Man book hits some good numbers as well.
